| OUR CLASS You will find here a list of some of the authors and titles we have studied and discussed in the past. And below you will find the decription of our class (11-B) from our church web site: Adult 11 is a class for couples and singles consisting of two groups (A & B). The two groups meet together for 15 minutes for announcements and prayer after which each group meets for a 45-minute lesson time. Class members contribute weekly to a class fund which is used for various projects. The class has supported the HOPE projects, the Carying Place, the Salvation Army Ring the Bell, and provides help at Christmas for families in need. The class enjoys an annual Christmas party and occasional social functions. Group B reads, studies, and discusses a variety of scriptures and other material. The group includes individuals with a variety of backgrounds, all on a common Christian journey. The best Sundays occur when discussion prevails and members share their own life experiences. Study topics include the Bible, contemporary issues, and books that inform and stimulate our Christian growth. Class members volunteer to coordinate the discussion on specific Sundays. Occasional guest speakers address special topics. The ages of members of this group cover the spectrum. |
