Every 3 - 6 months a group of class members meets to select the books or topics that the class will study and discuss. Every class member is welcome to participate in this process. You may suggest titles and topics and you may attend the selection meeting (or participate in the email discussion for those time that we do not have a face to face meeting).

Our general process for selection is this: The list below is updated as we learn of new titles we might consider. Preference is given to book that can be purchased for about $10 although every rule has exceptions. We find a copy of any book to be considered and do a quick review. The goal is to "nominate" three titles for scrutiny, identify the best title for our study, and either have the committee make the selection or have the class concur with the selection.

Below is our present list of candidate book titles.
